The Italian Orchestra of Cinema, as a tribute to the cinema from all over the world and to the music that made it popular presents “Cinematology”, a multimedia concert (85 orchestra professors) of the length of about 90 minutes, directed by Maestro Daniele
Belardinelli, will perform the most famous soundtracks of the film industry’s history. The performance will be accompanied by fascinating projections of vibrant and intense suggestion.
Special guest of the concert-event will be the Oscar winner Maestro Nicola Piovani, who will conduct the Italian Orchestra of Cinema in two suites from his soundtracks for Federico Fellini (The voice of the moon, Ginger & Fred) and from the multi awarded “Life is beautiful” by Roberto Benigni.
The outstanding artistic level of the musicians involved and the appeal of the suites performed by the Italian Orchestra of the Cinema, jointly with the high definition projections, will put in place a concert- event unique and of rare suggestion. The public will be literally captured by the music of the most beautiful movies of the history of cinema and surrounded by the multimedia frescos of images and graphics projected on more angles of the incredible concert halls of Beijing, like the Great Hall of the People and the National Center of the Performing Arts.
The concert is considered one of the most important moment in the international cultural context. It is promoted by Alto Patronato del Presidente della Repubblica, Ministero per gli Affari Esteri, del Ministero per i Beni e le Attività Culturali, del Ministero dello Sviluppo Economico, in co opration with Fondazione Italia Cina , dell’Istituto Italiano di Cultura di Pechino and supported by Smit Textile Spa.
